Getting the best from your IFR Flight Planning
10 July @ 4:00 pm - 12 July @ 12:00 pm CEST
Featuring, amongst others, Achim Hasenmueller – part of the team behind Autorouter.
We have become very familiar with online flight planning tools, one of which is the rightly popular Autorouter, which have genuinely revolutionised our experience of generating, filing and managing flight plans that are almost immediately accepted by Eurocontrol. Many PPL/IR Europe can remember the times of spending hours (or even days) getting a route accepted by the ‘system’.
But are we getting the best out of this technology and what more can we learn?
Come and join us in the city of Lubeck, Schleswig-Holstein, over the weekend of July 10th to 12th, 2020 to learn more about how to improve your understanding of how the flight planning system works and how you can use the information generated to fly more safely.
Lubeck is a port city in the northern part of Germany and part of the Hanseatic League. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site so there is lots to do and see for the accompanying person (an informal programme is in the planning).
Again we plan to arrive on the Friday with no formal dining arrangements. On the Saturday we are planning a tour of Lubeck for those not involved in the conference. And we hope that you will join us for an informal dinner on the Saturday evening. Sunday is your own to enjoy the local area.
Further details to follow as planning progresses.
