How do I renew my Membership Subscription?

There are a number of ways of renewing your Membership depending on your current membership status which could be any of the following:

The reason for the difference between members whose membership elapsed before or after 30 July 2012 is that a new website system was released on that date which changed the renewal process and provided unique usernames and passwords to members.

Current (active) member

If you are a current active member, then you need to be logged into the website to renew your membership subscription.  

This is used to renew your membership before it's expiration date - if your membership has expired and you are blocked from the site, please see the next section.

If you are currently logged in you can click on "My Profile" and then click on the subscription tab, or alternatively just click here.  Please note that if you are not logged in and you click on the previous link then you will be prompted to register a new account.  Please ensure you are logged in to just renew your subscription as opposed to re-registering.

Membership expired (since 30 July 2012)

If you are a member whose subscription has elapsed since 30 July 2012 you will have been converted to the new website membership and subscription system and have a username and a password.  If you have forgotten your username and password then see the Resetting or changing your password help article

If your membership has lapsed you simply need to log into the new system and you will be told your membership subscription has expired and be prompted to renew your subscription before you are able to complete the logging in process.

When you renew your subscription it will extend your previous expiration date by 12 months.

Automated renewal emails will be sent out from 4 weeks prior to subscription expiration.

Membership expired (before 30 July 2012)

If you are a previous member whose membership elapsed before we migrated to the new website on 30 July 2012 then your membership record should still be on our system but in an inactive status (unless you previously explicitly asked to have your membership record removed).

To renew your membership subscription you need to log into the new site which will then prompt you to renew before you can continue logging in.

To generate a password to allow you to log in based on your email address then see theResetting or changing your password help article to reset your password and send you a new one based on your email address.
